No speech model installed yet

LocalType does its speech recognition on the phone itself, so it needs a speech model. Without one there is nothing to recognise with.

1 Open the LocalType app.
2 Go to Speech model and pick one. The app suggests the one that suits your phone.
3 Wait for the download to finish. It carries on in the background.

The model is downloaded once. After that voice typing works without an internet connection.
