This device reports no microphone
Android says this device has no microphone at all. On a phone that is almost always wrong — it happens on tablets, emulators and some devices with unusual firmware.
- 1 Check whether other apps can record: try a voice memo or a call.
- 2 If nothing can record, the problem is in the device or its firmware, not in LocalType.
Typing keeps working normally. Only voice typing needs a microphone.
